Director of Human Resource/ SR Manager HR

UGS seeks a HR Director/ SR Manager HR candidate with 7- 10 years of HR Management level
experience who has led objective, thorough, and empathetic investigations of sensitive employee
relations and concerns.
The ideal candidate has high emotional intelligence and a background in investigating a variety of
employment and labor relations issues.
They are an effective interviewer, active listener, and a strong communicator, and also have
demonstrated the ability to apply innovative fact-finding techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate sensitive and/or complex employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • Objectively discuss and present findings with HR, partners, and executives.
  • Document investigation and summarize findings in a report.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations on mitigation
    strategies.
  • Advise, train and oversee HR Managers on company investigation best practices.
  • Discreetly handle sensitive and/or private information.
  • Travel as required to satisfy investigations.
  • Conduct meetings with managers about issues to resolve problems and answer questions
    regarding HR processes specific to investigations and discipline.
  • Identify training needs and plan training programs to provide manager support. with
    supervisory techniques,
  • Review and amend as necessary new hire orientation to reflect findings.
  • Review and amend as necessary HR related management topics.
  • Assist with preparation of disciplinary cases for presentation at administrative hearings.
